Alison Muir is head of procurement at Selfridges. With over 25 years of experience in the procurement arena, Muir has worked in a number of sectors – brewing, logistics, packaging and latterly helping retailers transform their approach to buying goods not for resale. This extensive experience means that there is not much she hasn’t been involved in buying over the years.

Having worked in logistics and having subsequently been involved in a number of initiatives to buy both warehousing and transport services, Muir is ideally placed to use this experience to judge the Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
